Nanny Irena arrived in New Zealand on the 26th Sep to visit with mummy and get some bits and pieces for the arrival of Kayleigh in November, I did not know untill I arrived that there was a problem, and Tracy told me that the last scan had shown that Kayleigh had not grown and that she was due to have another scan on the Wednesday 29th Sep. It was then we found out that there was no change since the last scan and the safest option was to deliver Kayleigh. So you see it was just pure luck I was in NZ at that time, I know now I was meant to be there.
Tracy, Stefan and myself drove the 2 1/2 hours to Hamilton where on Friday 1st october Kayleigh would be delivered by ceser. I thank god every day that I was there to see my precious little princess, and even get to hold her for a short while, if I had known what the future held I would never have let her go. I spent 3 1/2 weeks at the hospital with my daughter and son-in-law, but then came the time for me to leave to come back to England, my heart nearly broke
having to leave and If I knew then what I know now I would never have left.....The next time I went back to NZ was for my beautiful princess's funeral.
25th May 2001 Kayleigh's brother Alex was born a much loved and wanted little boy.
15th March 2004 Kayleigh's second brother Jack was born another much loved and wanted little boy.
